Law in Action

During my second semester of my first year at university I picked up an add-vantage module. The module, ‘Law-in-Action’ enabled me to understand the basics of, among others, corporate, family and contract law.

Pursuing this module catalysed my interest in law and fuelled my desire to research more into it as a potential post-undergraduate route to take.

Under this page you will be able to view a report of a case study that we looked at regarding the Uber v Aslam case, depicting the battle on whether Uber drivers are classified and considered to be independent workers, self-employed or employees and how this affects their statutory rights.
