Coventry University have implemented an opportunity for students to enhance their skills whilst undergoing learning outside of their course modules. Add+vantage modules are mandatory for students to pick up once each academic year, where they can learn a new skill, gain an extra qualification or clock in extra hours in a work experience placement.
For my final year, I decided to pick the ‘Student’s Union Work experience: Sports & Societies’ module. As President of CUSU MTS, this was a great opportunity to explore the society on a deeper level and plan the ways we could improve and enhance its functioning.
I analysed the society using a range of business models (e.g. SWOT Analysis) and I found it really helpful to understand the society better.
